This one was SO much fun for me to paint. It has multiple paintings underneath that I just didn't like enough to keep. So, this is the end result of many layers of flowers, mountains, butterflies and more!
The summer nights out here in the southwest are spectacular. When Thomas and I were driving through New Mexico on our way to Moab, we stopped to take a look at the stars on the side of the road. The crickets were singing and we could see the whole milky way.
I hope this one feels warm and cozy, like the best of the summer nights!
